Services for Municipalities

Van Rite Plumbing provides consulting services to cities and municipalities to help them safely replace old lead pipes for homeowners and businesses. We have successfully completed over 1,500 jobs for homeowners since 2017 and continue to be a leader in trenchless pipe replacement, directional drilling and pipe bursting. By using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques we are able to complete jobs quickly and with minimal disruption to the environment and to homeowners property.

“Van Rite Plumbing has been excellent to work with, complying with all local codes, following safety protocols and working effectively with the city of Green Bay and local homeowners. This work is critical in maintaining healthy drink water for our residents and we appreciate the service provided by Van Rite Plumbing,” says Steven Grenier, director of Green Bay Public Works.

Government Funding Programs

The Federal Government’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has provided over $20 billion dollars to states for infrastructure replacement, lead testing, corrosion control and more. In Wisconsin, the Department of Natural Resources manages the lead pipe replacement program and available funding and grants. Below are helpful links to these two programs.
